DEADLINE FOR 2026 is JULY 15, 2026.
The Sunshine Coast Art Crawl is a 3-day self-directed tour showcasing artists from Earls Cove to Gambier Island and was again hugely successful in 2025.
We all look forward with great optimism on what may await us for next year’s Art Crawl to be held OCTOBER 23-24-25, 2026 – yes that includes ALL DAY (10am-5pm) Friday Oct 25th .
NOTE: The Purple Banner Studio & Gallery Tour Guide is a separate programme and brochure, printed each spring and distributed throughout the year. To learn more click here.

Annual Membership Fees
Individual $45 : Non profit $60 : Business $99
Fee to become a Venue in the Art Crawl
Fee: $275.00– includes 1 image and description in the printed brochure and online listing (after July 15th a late fee of $25 will be charged)
Art Crawl Artists will be featured through their individual member listings on the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl website sunshinecoastartcrawl.com. Listings include a description, images, videos and links. Artists will also be featured on our social media @coastculturalalliance and your ‘stories’ reposted daily.
Deadlines
Deadline to apply is July 15 or until we are full. (after March 15th a late fee of $25 will be charged.
Deadline for FINAL COPY for printed brochure July 31, 2026.(includes any new copy, images, address, email or social media changes)
Criteria to be in the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl
- To meet our visitor’s expectations 70% of the product within the studio or gallery must be created by local artists or artisans.
- You must be a local resident who has a Sunshine Coast Address
All venues must be open from 10 am to 5 pm on October 23, 24, 25.
Friday Night openings are optional and will be open 7:00 to 9:00pm (or happy hour 5:00-7:00)
How to join the 2026 Art Crawl
IF YOU ARE A CURRENT MEMBER
- Log on to coastculture.com – click ‘My account’ at the top
- Once logged in, click Member Listings to see your membership expiry date and renew if necessary.
- While logged in click ‘Join Art Crawl or Purple Banner’’ and click on the item you want to join.
- Select the option and pay directly on-line, send an e-transfer to cca@coastculture.com or mail cheque to: Coast Cultural Alliance, 4638 Sunshine Coast Hwy, Sechelt BC V7Z 0E5.
- Make sure to update any new information in the ‘Art Crawl’ section at the bottom of the application.
- If you have any changes to your 2025 text or image for the printed brochure, please send by email to scartcrawl@gmail.com
IF YOU ARE A NEW CCA MEMBER AND new ART CRAWL participant
- To become a member – go to coastculture.com, click ‘Become a Member’ and follow the prompts to Register.
- You will be sent information to log in
- Once logged in, click NEW MEMBER START HERE
- When filling in the member application (after the photo section), check the Art Crawl box, it will open a new section. Fill in the Art Crawl information required at the bottom and follow link to the checkout to make your payment before saving and exiting.
- Remember to save your information and pay directly on-line or send an e-transfer to cca@coastculture.com or or cheque by mail to: Coast Cultural Alliance, 4638 Sunshine Coast Hwy, Sechelt BC V7Z
- Please note you will also need to send an image by email here for the printed brochure. Images must be 1” wide x .78” high at 300 dpi as .jpg or pdf.

CAN A GROUP OF US JOIN TOGETHER?
There are options for an individual listing or a listing as a group in the printed brochure and online. Group listings can help reduce individual costs when participants choose to show together.
Option 1 – Individual Participant Listing
- One participant per venue number.
- Must be a paid CCA member – $45 annual.
- Includes one image and individual description in the printed brochure and online.
- Best for participants who want maximum individual visibility and have their own physical location
Option 2 – Group Listing (Shared Venue Number)
- A group of participants exhibiting together under one venue number.
- All participating artists must be paid CCA members – $45 each annual.
- The group receives one Venue # sign, one shared description and one image in the printed brochure.
- Each participant will be linked to that venue number online.
- Participants’ names may or may not be included in the description (space permitting).
Option 3 – Group with Individual Listings
- Participants exhibiting together may each purchase their own Venue # sign which includes an image, and description in the brochure for increased exposure.
- Having multiple venue signs at one location can attract more visitor attention (“crawler traffic”).
Existing Gallery, Business, non-profit or Co-op
- Must be a paid CCA member ($60 for non-profit)
- Will receive one Art Crawl Venue # sign, description listing and image in brochure and one on-line listing for $275.00
- If other artists in the group want to have an on-line listing connected to the venue listing, they will need to become a CCA member ($45).
- If other artists in the group wish to have their own individual Venue # sign, description listing and image in the brochure and on-line listing it will be $275 for each additional listing.
INSURANCE
The Coast Cultural Alliance (CCA) recommends that each artist have liability insurance for their studio/venue. The CCA does not provide insurance for artists. If you have insurance on your studio/venue, we advise you to contact your insurer or insurance broker to let them know about the event and ensure you have coverage.
We are happy to have the support of Sunshine Coast Tourism and this event has become the focus of their Fall for the Arts extensive tourism campaign. This support will benefit artists with the marketing efforts of the event reaching audiences beyond the Sunshine Coast.
We will:
- create member/venue listing on sunshinecoastartcrawl.com to include: bio, links to your website, social media, contact information; 10 images of your art work; upload a video of you and/or your studio/work (provided by you .. newly created or using anything you have already)
- provide a website that is mobile friendly on ALL platforms
- publish a high quality printed brochure and map made widely available (also available online)
- provide venue numbers signs and directional signs for your venue
- provide sign-in sheets for Crawlers for our (CCA) record keeping
- provide a check list for everything you need for a great drop-in and virtual presence
- provide a how to video to best set up and present your “about your work” video and images
- provide a list of hashtags and accounts to tag for Instagram users
- provide link to ‘how to take’ good images your work
- provide a contact to our videographer to shoot your work if requested
- provide online tech assistance (within reason)
- create a strong social media campaign to draw virtual Crawlers to the Art Crawl
- provide other online and print promotional advertising
- We offer prizes chosen randomly to Crawlers who fill out an online ‘Crawler feedback Survey’.
You will:
- be required to have 70% of your product created by yourself or Sunshine Coast artists in your venue
- be a local resident who has a local Sunshine Coast address
- be open from 10:00am – 5:00pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- provide/update/upload high quality images and content for your web listing (how to links from CCA listed below)
- strongly suggest you provide a short video of your work to be part of your on-line (virtual) listing.
- NOTE: This is a great opportunity if you currently do not have a website or social media presence, consider your CCA member listing as a link to your work. (‘how to’ links provided)
- collect signatures from Crawlers on sign-in sheets provided
- track sales (online forms provided and strictly confidential)
- help promote the Crawl through your own list of contacts and social media
- be part of an exciting arts and culture event to bring buyers and browsers to the Sunshine Coast during the shoulder tourist season and the upcoming holiday season
